Sport Protein Bar

Rich Delicious and Satisfying. These great protein bars are just the job as a before or after sport or exercise snack. Low in fat, high in protein, they are so much healthier than commercial bars and versatile too.

Serves: 12

Cook: No Way!!......you don't have to cook these bad boys!!!

Keeps 1 week in airtight container

Ingredients:

250g -     Oats ground in blender into flour or use Oatmeal.

100g -     Protein Powder (vanilla or unflavoured)

190g  -    Smooth Peanut butter

2 Tbsp  - Honey

2 Tsp  -    Vanilla Extract

60ml -     Semi-skimmed milk

100g  -    Choc chips to throw in or melt and drizzle over the top (opt)

Directions:

Line a 8" square or 9x5 loaf tin

combine all the ingredients until has a tacky not sticky consistency

press down into tin and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Remove from tin and cut into 12 square sized bars

Optional - you can drizzle melted chocolate over the top OR throw in some choc chips at the mixing stage.
